Lovecraft: 1897

I've collected a few anecdotes for Lovecraft's earlier years. Here I list some for 1897

3 January 1897 Aunt Annie marries Edward.

? 1897: The Nobel Eavesdropper was written .

23 July 1897 death of family physician

20 August 1897: 7th birthday

8 November 1897: The Odyssey for Young People written

Christmas Season 1897: Sees a Shakespeare play

It seems clear that in 1897, Lovecraft is surrounded by the classics and makes some significant strides to capture this experience through some writing attempts. At least two notable life changing events happened for him. A familar person (the physician) dies, and Aunt Annie is married.
